Finish Line Emerges
One can follow the progress on Finish Line (sponsored by Sycamore Engineering) from the start to nearly the finish line as artist Stephanie Standish works her magic.
Here is the concept drawing Stephanie submitted for the car.
Here is the car before any work is started.
Here the car has a grid marked on its body to locate the pattern for the artist.
A close up reveals how the artists is achieving the appearance of speed with the checkers flying off the body of the car.
Pattern complete.
The painting begins.
The rear of the car is underway.

Follow Seurat Sedan's Progress
Seurat Sedan, sponsored by Thompson Thrift, is beginning to take shape. This car will be decorated with thousands of pieces of glass. Anna Lee Chalos-McAleese is the artist.
